It's been a while since I've shopped at any other stores other than my usual Meijer run each week, but KMart's super double coupons lured me in! KMart will double coupons up to $2! This means that your $2 coupon will double up to $4!! Remember that they do not give overage during these special deals. My wonderful husband decided to go with me so we could take advantage of the deals and do two separate transactions! Well, it didn't work out as well as we had anticipated, but we had some good deals nonetheless!
Coupon Rules for super double coupons:
1.) You must have $25 in spending before coupons
2.) You may only use 10 coupons per transaction
Proctor and Gamble have a deal when you buy $25 worth of P&G products, you receive a $5 catalina coupon at the register. My husband and I thought that you could use it on your next transaction, so I rang up first and then passed the coupon off to him. Well, it turns out that the coupon is only good for purchases made next week! Bummer! Anyways, here's what we did:
Transaction #1 (P&G Deal)
2 Pantene Pro-V Full and Thick products $3.33/ea.
-use two $2/1 coupons = free!
2 Pantene Pro-V stylers $3.33/ea.
-use 2 buy one Pantene Full and Thick product and get a styler free = free!
2 Cover Girl Eye Shadows $2.99 ea.
*All Cover Girl eye makeup is buy one get one half off
-use two $1/1 coupons=$0.50/ea.
2 Herbal Essences Products $3.33/ea.
-use two $1/1 coupons=$1.33/ea.
Total=$3.66+tax
**Get a $5.00 catalina coupon
Transaction #2
1 Hawaiian Tropic Suntan Lotion $8.49
-use $2/1 coupon=$4.49
2 Men's Degree Deodorant $2.33/ea.
-use two $0.75/1 coupons=$0.83/ea.
2 Lysol Neutra Air Freshener $2.67/ea.
-use buy one get one free coupon
-use $2/1 coupon=free!
1 Lysol Disinfectant Wipes $2.66
-use $1/1 coupon=$0.66
4 Pringles=$1.50/ea.
-use two $1/2 coupons=$0.50/ea.
Total=$8.81+tax
Overall, we spent less than $15 out of pocket for 19 items which makes each item only $0.75!! Altogether we saved about $40 in coupons (that doesn't include the sales on the items)!
Needless to say, I am very happy that My toiletry closet is full again and we'll be shopping for our shampoo from home!
